Job Seeking Skills

• Continuous training on how to find job opportunities, what a resume and cover letter entail, and resources to continuously learn and develop their knowledge and readiness for a job. 

Money Management

• Will provide money management training and encourage participation in all scheduled workshops.

Self Care

• Will educate on interview and work appropriate attire. This will include context knowledge of why it is important and how it matters long term to stay consistent.

Soft Skills

• Will teach transportation route planning, entry level computer skills, and goal setting in daily life and workplace.

Situational Assessment

• Will work with consumer to obtain an understanding on their interests, likes, dislikes and pertinent skills for job placement. 

Applying for Jobs

• Advisors will work with consumers on networking, understand how to apply, follow up and interview. 

Informational Conversation

• Will accompany consumers in approaching interested job establishments to establish a rapport.

Interview Training

• Advisors will mock role interviews with consumers to practice and train on what works, and what may need improvement.
